Man Fut Tong Nursing Home (Day Rehabilitation Centre), located at Woodlands Street 82, is a home for the eldery and aged sick. It was founded by Venerable Shi Chin Yam more than 30 years ago.

History
Man Fut Tong began as the first Buddhist home for elderly females in the Hougang area. This 22-bed home was located at 14E Richards Avenue (Upper Serangoon Road area) before it was relocated to Woodlands and renamed Man Fut Tong Home in January 2002. This four-storey, 232-bed nursing home has an estimated operational cost of S$1 million a year. To raise funds, the home organised a Charity Dinner on 5 January 2001 at the World Trade Centre Exhibition Hall 3. Besides the ticket sales to the dinner, proceeds from auctioning Chinese calligraphy works by the renowned local artist Tan Swie Hian, as well as Buddhist statues and amulets also go towards the operational expenses of the home.

Variant Name
